Your battery

You may not know this but most batteries need YOU to check their water levels on a regular basis. It is possible to replace the caps on the battery so you don’t have to do this with special caps. When you do this, use distilled water not tap water or you could ruin your battery. If you live in a hot climate like I do it is important that you do this regularly. Or you could get stuck somewhere without a jump.

Old Lamps?

I have this lamp hanging from the ceiling in my stairwell. It doesn’t look very nice and needs to be replaced. The problem with replacing lamps is that now you have to look at hundreds of lamps and imagine how well they will look in your house. The other problem is many lamps look ‘out of style’ almost as soon as you hang them. Quoizel lighting offers ‘timeless’ lamps and fixtures for your home. A brief look and you can see that they will look good years from now.

Picking up the Pieces

Do you or does someone you know like jigsaw puzzles? I can’t remember the last time I put one together but I remember I would always start by finding the corners of the jigsaw puzzle, then all the flat pieces. Isn’t that how everyone starts a jigsaw puzzle? It’d be interesting to see if how much longer it would take to finish one by starting from the center. But that’s the problem…what is the center?

Think you have good suspension? Think again

This video of the Bose, yes the audio company, suspension system, is just awesome. At the end it does something really cool that will take you back to the ’80’s. All I can say is where do I get one?

T-Mobile Vario III?

Some rumors are flying around saying that T-Mobile will soon be carrying the HTC Kaiser, aka TYTN II.

Hell there is even a video

I just recently found an accessories site that had some for the Vario III. Which happened to have a picture of the TYTN II. I searched tmobile.com for the Vario III and found nothing.

 Could they know something?

Bionic Woman

I just finished watching the pilot for Bionic Woman. Just like the Journeyman Pilot it is available early from Amazon Unbox. The show gets off to a good start and immediately develops critical plot points. There is a bad girl/guy right off the bat with a twist loyalties half-way through that hint at multiple bad guys battling each other somewhere in the future. Bionic Woman is like Jake 2.0 with the ’saved-by-the-bellish’ taken out. If the director reads this, please keep a tight hold on the acting. There was one scene in the rain, the two girls are talking, yeah that one…reign that in and the show will be great.

Wow, Journeyman Goes Far

If you have been to the Amazon Unbox page recently you might have noticed the Journeyman Pilot a week early. I just finished watching it and I must say it is well worth the watch. The main character suddenly starts time travelling, for no reason, back and forth from the past. Seemingly on a mission to save certain people’s lives. This first episode got right into the action and did a very good job of some character development. Near the end he pulls off a little stunt to get his marriage off the rocks this time travelling got him into. Take a minute and set your DVR, it is showing the 24th on NBC 10/9c

Got to grow a little garden

I have been thinking about redoing my patio into a small greenhouse, otherwise known as a conservatory. However being in a condo I seem to be missing a yard for the larger varieties. If you have ever been to the UK then you may have noticed the abundance of conservatories they have. Looking around a bit I found a UK website that lists some decent looking structures. When I do finally get around to having a yard, a greenhouse is high on my list of Home Improvements including some impressive looking driveways. Looking around that website a bit more I found some interesting ideas such as a garage conversion ideas that didn’t require converting the whole idea. The whole job looks pretty decent.

Back to the greenhouse, I only have limited room but it would be nice to grow some food as well. The Arizona sun can be merciless on some plants so it might be helpful to have some shutters in the windows to create some shade for the pickier plants.

There’s a wall between my livingroom and kitchen that would be great for a mini conservatory. The first step is to draw a picture. I’ll get cracking on that.

My First Gadget Review up at Pocketnow.com

Instead of software, this time I reviewed the Gomadic QuadCharge Universal Charging Station. It may not seem like much but this nifty charging station actually takes care of headaches! Honestly though, it gives me a nice, clean looking, presentable way of charging my devices. They don’t slip off and the cables don’t disappear behind a desk, etc. Go on, read the full review.
