I WANT ONE OF THESE!!! The only thing it isn’t is a phone but I’m sure it won’t be long until that’s hacked into it as an Android App. Think about it, besides a phone what else would you need? This is a trailer home! For between $75K and $100K you can have one of your own. Take a look at the link and you’ll see that this is quite different from the usual debris targeted by tornados. Very nice, now if only there was a flying saucer I could park in the driveway we’d be golden.

GM and Segway announced a collaboration to bring even greener transportation to cities. The article says they intend to incorporate an auto-pilot so the PUMA can navigate by itself, freeing the passengers to…text each other and put on make up, or stuff their faces with fast food.

All kidding (or seriousness) aside, I think I’d actually drive on of these around. Phoenix is huge and right of way is generally decided by speed and tonnage but in a neighborhood like mine it would actually be useful for a short commute to work, shopping trip or to visit some family.

Green wheel turns pedal bike into electric hog – Discovery.com- msnbc.com.

When I first saw the title I thought, yawn another electric motor. After reading the article I was a bit impressed by the output and configuratio of the wheel. Basically one GreenWheel can get 25 miles, tops out at 30 MPH, can be used in conjunction with another GreenWheel (both front and rear) and uses bluetooth to control the speed so there are no wires to get messed up. I want one, green with envy here.

Where would I ride it to?

Not much in the way of press about this but all of a sudden this kindling has turned into a fire. Amazon has brought E-ink digital paper technology to the backpack and reading chair overnight. The Kindle is sort of like a notebook and sort of like a paperback, but not. It uses Amazon’s Whispernet to download new volumes, books, newspapers, blogs etc. It even has Wikipedia access. The display is readable in all types of lighting that normal paper is readable in. I can’t describe how cool this is so you will have to check it out yourself.
