Blog advertising quickly has become a great way to get traffic going towards your business website. Yes, there are those ‘publicity’ firms that claim they can get you more business but what usually happens, if you don’t pick the right one, is they take your money, do a couple things and nothing comes of it. Blog advertising is tangible and lasting. You pay a service that pays bloggers (like me!) to write about your product or service and link to your site. When the search engines crawl the blogs they notice people talking about YOU and you get a higher page rank. Most of these services require the blogger to maintain the ad on their blog (in natural order) for anywhere from 30 days to a year to even forever. So that search engines will always notice you.
